Health and nutrition education can help you sort through the maze of seemingly conflicting and confusing information generally found on the Internet, in books too many to list, and in the media.
Science based courses and presentations are customized to address the roles nutrition and physical activity play in the prevention, as well as the development, of disease. Critical thinking skills are emphasized throughout the learning experience, as they are paramount to discerning fact from fiction.
Offerings include weight management education, plant based diets, basic nutrition, dietary requirements for the management of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, WSIB approved First Aid and CPR certification, stand alone CPR certification, Pet First Aid, BLAST! Babysitter certification, and more.
